The Challenge
GE Consumer & Industrial needed a persuasive way to communicate its leadership to multiple media influencers.
The Solution
When GE's Lighting & Electrical Institute was renovated it became a prime location to hold a media event. WATT helped roll out "Visit Nela Park in Full Bloom".
WATT handled planning at Cleveland Botanical Gardens, national media outreach, collateral design, overall event support, nationally recognized musician and entertainment negotiations, photography, media gift coordination (Cleveland-based artists were commissioned to produce works based on gardens), media event survey development, distribution and reporting.
The Result
According to attendee surveys, 90 percent of attendees indicated they enjoyed the media event "very much" and "would attend" other scheduled GE events.
Multiple feature articles in participating publications appeared within six months of event.
